How does corporate involvement in the arts industry reflect their branding, as well as a city’s cultural life? Nurturing the arts not only strengthens a sense of belonging and commitment to a specific place or region, but also ensures the growth of a city’s creativeness, making it more attractive to businesses and their key stakeholders. In the case of Singapore—one of the world’s most advanced cities—, the development of a vibrant art scene plays an essential role in building and maintaining a stimulating environment for work and play.
This intensive course will guide participants through the most recent activities of corporate art initiatives world-wide. Practising professionals will present case studies to provide thorough insights into the global art scene and the potential of partnerships between corporations and art institutions for brand-building.
