Coinciding with LASALLE’s 30th anniversary, this major exhibition presents a range of works in various media by around thirty artists who are all previous graduates of programmes at LASALLE College of the Arts. Curated by Khairuddin Hori, Senior Curator at the National Heritage Board and Bala Starr, Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, it celebrates the diversity, breadth and innovation of these artists and their works. Its title, after the popular song Modern Love, likens the intensity of artistic creation and experience with similar feelings experienced in emotional relationships.
Modern Love is curated by Khairuddin Hori, the recently appointed Deputy Director at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris and Bala Starr, Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore.
