Hundreds of years ago, El Greco already said ‘Art is everywhere you look for it’. Now 12 artists invite you to look for it at Singapore’s very unique Wessex Estate as they celebrate a whole decade of Art Walks on November 5 & 6.
Twelve independent artist studios will open their doors from 11am to 7pm on both Saturday and Sunday. A brochure, containing a map and a short description of each participating studio, will be available on the day so that visitors can easily plan their walking route.
ArtWalk@Wessex originally started as an annual happening. In recent years, it changed to bi-annual walks so that anyone could meander through the open studios of the group of artists living and working in green Wessex Estate more often. This tradition became an inspiration for many visitors from all walks of life, who share one thing in common, the love and appreciation of the Art.
Paintings, drawings, prints, photography, ceramic and sculptures will be on display and sale.
