This exhibition is based on a theme of ‘Korean Pattern’ to promote creativity and excellence of Korean design culture in collaboration with designers from 5 different countries; Korea, Singapore, USA, Japan and the UK.
As Singapore progresses through its cultural renaissance, Korean trends have often had a large influence on the ever-developing culture of Singapore, and an increasing amount of Korean culture has been embraced every year. The exhibition is not just about the K-Pop boom and Korean dramas, but an active movement to showcase Korean artists’ works island-wide. This 2015 CDAK International Exhibition of Professional Artists will be a great way to promote the competency of Korean design.
This exhibition will be an opportunity to understand traditional Korean patterns in a fresh futuristic and artistic approach, and to reinterpret them through a modern perspective.
