Jam like a superstar at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) this year-end season! RWS is organising its first-ever nation-wide live band competition titled “2015 Singapore Coliseum Jam Band Competition” together with MS Works Private Limited from 30 November 2015 to 23 December 2015. To be held at The Coliseum at Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, RWS, this live band competition reflects RWS’ diverse entertainment offerings that appeal to different audiences.
With this competition, RWS aims to identify and nurture local music talent by providing a platform to showcase local musical talent. The competition comprises five heats and one final showdown, where the winning band from each round of heats battles it out to vie for the prestigious winning title along with cash and great prizes. An Online People’s Choice Award will also be given to one lucky band with the highest number of “likes” on the event’s Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/coliseumjam.sg where the band will be offered a place in the finals. Should the selected Band be already in the finals, the place shall be given to the next Band in line. Lucky fans of the Facebook event page and audiences of the competition also stand to win attractive prizes (terms and conditions apply).
With a pool of over S$30,000 in cash and prizes to be won, the top winning band stands to win $5,000 cash, S$1,000 RWS vouchers, a Hard Rock Hotel Rock Star Package and a trophy. Singapore’s very own indie rock stars King Kong Jane will be making a special appearance on the final showdown on 23 December 2015. Applications to join the competition are now open and will close on 20 November 2015.
