The show A Desire to See: Five Photographers from the 19th to 21st Century features groundbreaking figures who found beauty in Singapore and Indonesia, namely Arthur Fleischmann, Hans Höfer, Lee Lim, Teo Han Wue and Yip Cheong Fun. From serene black and white photographs to vibrant painterly images, and from aesthetic-driven compositions to documentary motivations, this exhibition provides an enriching survey of photography throughout time.
