A Path to Glory – Jin Yong’s World of WUXIA”

In tribute to the centenary of literary titan Dr. Louis Cha (Jin Yong), Linda Gallery and Museum of Contemporary Art present A Path to Glory – Jin Yong’s World of WUXIA, a major solo exhibition by acclaimed Chinese sculptor Ren Zhe.

Presented across three major locations in Singapore from 30 May through mid August 2025, the exhibition invites audiences into a multi-sensory journey through the world of Wuxia as imagined by Jin Yong and powerfully reinterpreted by Ren Zhe.

This exhibition, held in the wake of the successful centenary commemoration in Hong Kong and its acclaimed presentation at the China Cultural Centre Singapore, brings a focused spotlight to Ren Zhe’s sculptural interpretation of Jin Yong’s world of Wuxia (武侠) – and its honouring of martial chivalry. Through Ren’s mastery in bronze and steel, iconic characters such as Guo Jing, Huang Rong, and other martial heroes are reimagined as powerful sculptural presences—each work capturing the emotional and philosophical core of the characters they portray.
