The Calligraphy World of Ang Tock Kiong

80 years old, Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy Artist. Sixty years of Calligraphic Studies with strong formative years as students of Huang Zai Ling, Huang Huo Ruo and Si Xiang Tuo, the 1st generation of Chinese Calligrapher in Singapore. Studied in Hwa Chong Institution and Nanayang Academy of Fine Arts. Members of The Equator Art Society, Shicheng Calligraphy and Seal-carving Society, Executive Committee member of Japanese Calligraphic Art Society.

Founding Leader of the Huang Chong Alumni Calligraphy Art Club. Solo Exhibition in 2014. Works participated in Singapore National Art Exhibitions and International Chinese Calligraphy and Culture Exhibitions. Works exhibited in shows in Beijing, Dalian, Wuxi, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Tokyo; and selected as Collections of Xiamen Art Museum, Xiamen Overseas Chinese Museum and private collectors in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and the US.
