Allure of Stone

Discover the ancient soul of stone reimagined at MKAU Gallery’s “Allure of Stone,” featuring Chinese artist Jmeke (Yin Zhenwei). He treats unique shale stones as primordial canvases, not materials for carving. Guided by “Dao Fa Zi Ran” (following nature’s way), he paints directly onto their natural surfaces. This creates a dialogue between his intention and the stone’s history, resulting in profound works of “meaning beyond the image” that contemplate timeless beauty.
