Gesturing towards the fluidity of time and the often unstable nature of memory, “Next Exit” by Alvin Tang presents viewers a non-linear narrative through an immersive journey.

Moving images and sonic textures come together to create an encounter that feels familiar yet just out of reach. Three projected video works fill the gallery space with traces of past and imagined places, looping and surfacing in ways that feel suspended in time. Alongside them, a series of lightboxes pulse with wave-like visuals and resemble fragments of something once whole, now dissolving into static.
