“It might be a great thing to be trapped in a loop. It allows us reflect on what’s often overlooked and appreciate the mundane more than ever.”

soph O is a Singaporean visual art maker and amateur carpenter. Intrigued by the way the eye captures light and colour, she explores how paint can create shifts and movements on flat surfaces. She currently works on walls, paper, wood, and the resulting “oversprays, distortions and fragments”. Some examples of which will be on show and for sale at Kult Kafe priced from $50.
