In collaboration with Ars Electronica, the National Arts Council is organising an Art Thinking Week in Singapore, featuring talks, panel discussions and workshops by visiting artists who were previously featured or have collaborated with Ars Electronica. This series of programmes aims to present and introduce artistic strategies used when working with new technologies and to support participants to gather concrete ideas and adaptable frameworks which can be directly applied in their own artistic and professional practice.
The Art Thinking Week is designed to benefit emerging, mid-career artists, curators, producers, and creative technologists who are currently working in or are interested in exploring and experimenting at the intersection of arts and technology. Participants’ practice can range across different artforms and can be multi-disciplinary in nature.
