Wu Chi-Yu’s practice revolves around the moving image and looking for contemporary narratives in lost memories, through the reproduction of myths and oral history. Through his video installation and performance works, he explores the connections between history and politics, as well as the individual and the collective in contemporary society.
As Artist-in-Residence at Grey Projects, he launches his Open Studio on October 9th, where he’ll also be giving a talk about his practice, current project, and the political and societal themes that often drive his works. The studio will remain open for viewing until 20th October 2018.
