Artist Talk: Peripheral Rituals by Guo-Liang Tan

Join artist Guo-Liang Tan as he unpacks the poetics of abstraction and the creative process behind his paintings Peripheral Rituals I–III, a featured series in the exhibition Everyday Practices. Following a newly written presentation titled “On Edges, Intent and Giving Attention,” the artist will be in conversation with exhibition curator Haeju Kim to discuss his artistic practice in relation to the exhibition themes of repetition, gestures and duration.

Venue: Level 3, Gallery 4, Gallery Reception, SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark
