The Asia Japan Art Festival 2022 is an arts and culture exchange event jointly held by Singapore and Japan. This exhibition will display a wide range of unique Japanese art and culture in Singapore from 16 (Fri) to 18 (Sun) September 2022.

In addition to works by various Japanese contemporary and literary artists from a variety of genres, the exhibition will also feature numerous pieces by Singapore-based artists, totaling around 100 artworks.

Participating artists originate from a wide range of nationalities, cultures, genres, careers, and societal contexts, creating a rich and diverse lineup. Their unbound expression manifested through their work imbues their art with a level of accessibility that is rarely seen; anyone can enjoy this art exhibition, regardless of whether they are young, old, or somewhere in-between!

We believe that art and culture are universal concepts and thus can transcend genres and borders. Thus, we choose to employ them to promote mutual understanding and respect so that people and countries may be brought together. We believe that this exhibition will further deepen Japan and Singapore’s bilateral ties.
