Adapting from the famous axiom of “love at first sight”, at second sight looks instead at the second take, the following moment and what comes after. It speaks to the practice of looking and re-looking to find and enact possibilities by focusing on the repetitive gesture of returning and how the recursive passage back to a moment, a thing, a feeling, a situation is integral to the process of art-making and how we imbue significance to events and objects around us.
The exhibition features new works by Khairullah Rahim and Leonard Wee, alongside writing by Samantha Yap.
