As Diverse Oneness seeks to pay tribute to the diversity of the Alliance Française community, 70 portraits of its past and present members were captured by Lavender Chang in their homes, showing them at their most natural state without any pretense. The exhibition opened in conjunction with Alliance Française de Singapour’s 70th anniversary celebration on 12 October 2019 and was noted for its remarkable reception among the crowd.
Join Lavender CHANG and Pauline JORGE, cultural programming manager of the Alliance Française de Singapour for an evening conversation at la galerie, as they will elaborate on the artist’s thought process and journey which leads up to the creation of the work.
