Korean artists are making waves in the art world with their unconventional techniques and unrivaled creativity. As the country’s contemporary art scene continues to become more diverse, TAKSU brings 3 artists (Kunju Kim, Chongwoon Choi & Sungchul Hong) who stand out from the crowd with their unique approaches & unorthodox ideas and visions that carries one “Beyond the Frame”, and brings forth a new appreciation for Korean contemporary art. These artists attempt to explore themes of individuality, illusion, and imagination- through music, installations, and sculptures.
“Beyond the Frame” art exhibition is in collaboration with Art Angel Company, based in Seoul, Korea and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Arts Management Service and Fund for Korean Art Abroad.
Opening: 22nd August, at 7 pm, with the artists in attendance.
