The Bras Basah.Bugis Arts Sprawl is a two-day event that offers an eclectic line-up of arts and heritage offerings for visitors young and old, held along Handy Road Open Space outside The Cathay. ‘Art sprawlers’ can indulge in some “me time” at the lifestyle market and browse locally-designed and produced merchandise, while the adventurous can try out something unconventional such as tarot reading, or get a haircut, an additional piercing or a temporary tattoo! Get creative and take part in a charcoal sketching workshop, or grab a biodegradable paper cup and contribute to the outdoor mural.
Resident ‘art sprawlers’ looking to unwind can enjoy an evening of music performances by home-grown multi-genre artists, while enjoying mouth-watering delights by our F&B vendors such as Fish Sh-nack, The Swag Social and Zeroplusone. Don’t forget to snap a photo at the 3D optical illusion art installation before you leave!
