Bui Van Hoan is a master of light: He likes to meditate in the morning so in both of his subjects “Monk and scenery” normally in atmosphere of the early morning mist, and he let the delicate light reveal to us the details.
The impressionist influence blends in his art with the Asian traditions that can be noted through the subject of his work, in the inspiration and delicacy of his style.
Bui Van Hoan’s work is very profound and expresses better than words the philosophy and approach of life of “Thien”, the Vietnamese school of Zen.
