Be inspired by the unique flavour of Armenian classical music, performed by Ani Umedyan (violin), Leslie Tan (cello), and Kseniia Vokhmianina (piano). The combination of Armenian modality, traditional melodies and rhythmic patterns with aspects of the Western classical tradition were established by composers such as Komitas and Babajanyan. Indulge in discovering the Armenian spirit, inspired by ancient traditions, holy lands and the incredible nature of this country through its beautiful music.

By Candlelight is a chamber music series presented by The Arts House. Each performance celebrates how chamber music is best meant to be experienced: in living rooms and cosy venues, surrounded by family and friends. Guests are invited to hear live music played by fine chamber musicians, mingle with these artists in an informal setting, as well as share and learn music insights.
