By Fable, the monochrome art studio founded by Singapore-born artist Elizabeth Marlow, has opened its first permanent gallery at WEAVE, Resorts World Sentosa, introducing a new perspective to Asia’s contemporary art and design scene.
In line with the opening, By Fable has announced a series of monthly workshops offering participants a rare opportunity to explore the principles of ink illustration under Elizabeth Marlow’s guidance. Held in the new gallery, these evening sessions invite guests to experience her monochrome practice first-hand, encouraging creativity and connection in an intimate setting. The first confirmed dates are 25 September, 29 October and 13 November 2025, from 6.30pm to 9.00pm, with each session priced at SGD $180 per person.
Elizabeth grew up in Singapore surrounded by Chinese calligraphy and ink, influences she has combined with a European minimalist sensibility to create a monochrome style that is both tactile and timeless. Her work is textured and designed to slow you down, invite touch and bring meaning into modern spaces.
