This site-specific mural depicts pastiche characters and landscapes based on local icons and mascots, as well as Singaporean architectural landmarks such as Esplanade, Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Flyer and old colonial buildings. Moving through the zones and portals represented on different walls, the intricately painted characters change their shape and colour as they progress. The work evokes a carnival world where the urban terrain is ever-changing, and the creatures within have the freedom to re-invent themselves anew.
