Asian Scientist Magazine launched a non-profit national youth art competition, Celebrating Our Healthcare Heroes. Working tirelessly day and night since the pandemic’s onset, our frontline healthcare workers and scientists are some of the most visible faces of COVID-19. To celebrate their dedication, sacrifice and bravery, the Celebrating Our Healthcare Heroes competition aims to use art as a platform for the public to show their immense gratitude and appreciation to Singapore’s frontliners.
The art competition hopes to:
1. Honor the brave healthcare workers and scientists who contributed to the fight against COVID-19
2. Offer a platform for youth to share their voice and personal experiences surrounding the pandemic
3. Rally national support and inspire unity within the community
