Ceramic Workshop

This workshop introduces Iskandar Jalil’s philosophies and ideas. Led by his former students Aida Khalid and Hiroko Mita (from Temasek Potters and Jalan Bahar Clay Studios respectively), participants will create their own ceramic works using a variety of handbuilding techniques. The first session features the use of Singapore local clay slip, while the second incorporates motifs from Southeast Asia’s rich cultural traditions.

Venue: Rooftop Studios 1 & 2, National Gallery Singapore

Tickets: $50 (includes booking fee)
Tickets available through the Gallery and SISTIC websites and ticketing counters
