Immerse yourself in a captivating world where light meets art at CERTAINTY IN UNCERTAINTY – A Solo Exhibition of Dr. Allison Liu Daisong, hosted by ERCO Lighting and Woosee Gallery. Step into the Lichtpavilion, our specially transformed ERCO Singapore experience centre, where German lighting precision illuminates the understated luxury of Chinese contemporary art.
This exclusive exhibition highlights Dr. Allison Liu Daisong’s profound work. An accomplished artist and scholar, Dr. Liu reinterprets classical shanshui (mountain and sea) painting through a modern philosophical lens, utilising her “Statement of Six Senses” theory to blend form and spirit, East and West, tradition and innovation. While she has always masterfully used ink and mineral pigments on rice paper, this exhibition marks a significant evolution, working on large-scale canvas with mixed media. This new approach allows light, texture, and form to converse in bold, unprecedented ways, creating philosophical spaces that reflect the rhythms of contemporary life.
The exhibition is open for pre-booked, guided viewings from Friday, 29 August to Friday, 12 September, Monday to Friday. Each intimate viewing session is one hour long and welcomes a maximum of 10 guests, ensuring a personal and in-depth exploration of the artworks and their thoughtful illumination.
