“Colours of Our Home” is a solo art exhibition by Zhu Hong. Presenting original artworks on canvases, Zhu Hong’s paintings capture the viewers’ attention with instantaneous effect. His alluring hallmarks are striking: a childlike naivety, an explosion of vibrant colours and the freshness free from convention. Coming from China, the diversity of Singapore lifestyles – in all aspects – is an unimaginable new transition in his life. His fascination for his new-found home is shown in the way he transforms the haunts into vibrant exotic visual imageries which stir the places to life.
