Voices of Singapore (VOS) proudly presents Concert of the People: The Sound of Us, a heartwarming evening that celebrates the spirit of community, family, and the unifying role of music. Taking place at Capitol Theatre on 23 May, this special concert — part of the VOS #SING60 series — will feature over 500 voices from VOS’ community impact choirs, bringing together singers across generations and backgrounds.
#SING60 is a year-long series by Voices of Singapore dedicated to Building, Inspiring, and Celebrating a singing nation in honour of Singapore’s 60th anniversary.
Audiences can look forward to performances by Silver Voices, an inclusive singing programme for seniors aged 60 and above — including those living with dementia; the Starlight Voices, a vibrant choir for children and youth with special needs; and the Chorus of the People, a non-auditioned adult choir for all who love singing. The evening also marks the debut of two newly formed Silver Voices groups, refl ecting VOS’ ongoing eff orts to make singing accessible to all through its community impact programmes.
