A central tenet at Playeum is championing that children themselves are active participators in content creation, but how can this be managed meaningfully? How can we find out and respond to what children really like to do? How can we help to engage children with activities that inspire their creativity and imagination, and how can we provide for them a sense of agency to create?
These questions and more will be addressed at Playeum’s Children’s Centre for Creativity at our 5th session of Content Creator’s Night, as we gather like-minded individuals like yourself to come together to share on creating content with and for children.
Come sound out your own ideas out in this forum, and also learn how Playeum has developed innovative and high-quality play spaces, programmes and products designed to encourage children’s open-ended and self-directed learning.
This time round, we have the collaborators behind theHack Our Play initiativejoining us for the evening to share the inspiration and insights on the project that was recently featured in the news! Hack Our Play (HOP) is Singapore’s first participatory, community-built play space. It is an initiative that lets children, educators, and parents to co-create their very own play space, from start to finish. Speakers include Mizah Rahman from Participate In Design (P!D) and Eudora Lim from St James’ Church Kindergarten.
