This exhibition presents painting, photography, printmaking, graphic novels and sculpture by students from level 2 (currently level 3), Diploma in Fine Arts.
The works were created by the students during three modules: Corners and Edges, Networks and Systems, and Bodies in Interiors. These modules equip students with fundamental skills in their chosen disciplines, including how to build a composition, represent three-dimensional forms on two-dimensional surfaces, and make parallels between contrasting subjects and forms.
Embodying a range of styles, the works show how colour, scale and different media can transform familiar forms and environments. The human figure, urban interiors and nature form starting points for the students’ personal interpretations of the modules’ themes.
Conversations between the echoes is organised by Diploma in Fine Arts students Viet Anh Capi, Jia Qi Lim, Vivian Loh and Denise Yap.
