Crafting Sound is a showcase of student work from a recent studio — Computable Atmospheres — at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). This studio explores the oft-neglected aural dimension of spaces, and the use of VR technology and simulation techniques to aid in crafting soundscapes. Students reimagine the future uses of Golden Mile Tower by proposing design interventions that transform the building’s interior spaces, imbuing them with new and distinctive qualities.
