Held over four weekends, this year’s Open House features a vibrant carnival theme, inviting festival-goers to revel in the dynamic atmosphere and rich traditions of Deepavali.
For the first time, visitors can explore the intricate artistry of kalamkari – an ancient form of hand-painted cotton textiles at the Kalamkari Art Painting Workshop; and design stunning floral displays at the Carnival of Blooms: Deepavali Floral Arrangement Workshop. Food enthusiasts can also delight in the flavours of Little India with the all-new Little India Thosai Walking Trail and Little India Prata Walking Trail, while celebrating the season in style with handcrafted treasures and festive gems from local artisans and businesses at the Deepavali Festive Heritage Markets.
