Design WAH! Showcase is a curated exhibition that presents original design intellectual properties (IPs) created by Singapore’s students and young designers. Spanning character-based IPs and illustrations to innovative product concepts and rich world-building narratives, it offers audiences a window into the vibrant creativity and entrepreneurial drive of the next generation.
Each design concept is not purely aesthetic; it also represents strategic, ownable creative content with real-world potential across merchandise, publishing, digital platforms, fashion, and consumer goods. The programme includes interactive storytelling zones and designer engagement sessions, enabling visitors to discover the conception, refinement, and ambitions behind each work.
By championing fresh talent and fostering collaboration between design schools, industry professionals, and the public, Design WAH! Showcase enhances Singapore’s creative ecosystem. It highlights the value of design innovation and empowers young creators to commercialise their ideas, positioning design as both a cultural asset and economic driver.
