Die Göttliche Ordnung – The Divine Order

The Swiss Embassy is pleased to present the Swiss movie “Die Göttliche Ordnung” (The Divine Order) by Petra Biondina Volpe in the frame of the European Union Film Festival 2018.

The film revisits the struggle for gender equality in the early Seventies in a small Swiss village through the life of Nora. A housewife and mother, Nora gradually gets more and more involved in publicly advocating for women’s suffrage, an issue to be voted on in a 1971 national referendum.

Rating: R21.
