The first in a multi-movement thematic series of exhibitions at Nouri, Movement 1: Emergence features the evocative works of Spanish-born, Singapore-based artist Carmen Ceniga Prado. Focusing on the processes of germination and sprouting as the first stages of organic life, the exhibition also explores the propagation and spreading of roots that speaks to Nouri’s practice of Crossroads Cooking, allowing for a multiplicity of rhizomatic intersections across cuisines, cultures and histories.
