Woodcuts have been the major medium of the past year for Jeremy. A familiar medium for social commentary, Jeremy has also used them as companion-documentation pieces for his performance art, as well as for more lyrical compositions.
The eponymous woodcut of the exhibition was completed on the day Donald Trump was inaugurated as President of the United States. A presidential figure manipulates a globe-headed puppet, not realizing that he himself is a puppet for the shadowy horned figure behind. Like Pinocchio, the puppet has an elongated nose, perhaps indicating a penchant for fake news.
