Felt: Love, Remedies and Textures

“Felt: Love, Remedies and Textures” explores the love languages within Asian families. Inspired by artist Adeline Kueh’s own family, the exhibition showcases stories of resilience and hope.

From the indulgence of being served cut pieces of fruit, having our clothes sewn and mended, and being treated to homemade remedies, these acts embody the many subtle ways our families express love and care for us. The exhibition also explores intergenerational wisdom through a series of works featuring collected stories and recipes. Kueh aims to blend personal memories with feelings of familiarity, creating a touching narrative of familial bonds.
