‘Chiaroscuro’ is a Renaissance drawing technique, which explores three-dimensional form through contrasting light with shadow. In this workshop we will use charcoal to hone our visual perception skills and master this traditional technique. Yet what we ‘see’ with our eyes will always be nuanced by our own past experiences. Art therapist Kelly Reedy will help you find the light in the darkness.
