The hand is the brush that transmutes ink on the fingers to beauty that lingers on the page. Dedicating his life to his unique art, Master Wu Tsai Yen was an eminent artist credited with reviving international interest in the art of finger painting. A pioneer in his field, Master Wu has contributed immensely to the local arts scene through notable exhibitions and education efforts.
As part of the Singapore Bicentennial celebration, HCA Hospice Care is partnering the late Master Wu Tsai Yen’s family in a charity arts exhibition. The Wu family has kindly put up 80 paintings for sale, 70% of all proceeds will be channeled to HCA.
At the exhibition, the public will be treated to a live finger painting demonstration by Master Wu’s son, Mr Wu Ee Lung who has passionately followed his father’s footsteps in the creation and promotion of the ancient art form.
