Part plush flower market, part cultural phenomenon, Australian artist CJ Hendry’s Flower Market will open at Gardens by the Bay within IMBA Theatre’s gallery. This large-scale immersive experience is built around Hendry’s belief that art should be approachable to everyone. Her obsession with detail takes hyperrealism from the canvas into the physical world, creating an extraordinary encounter with tens of thousands of plush flowers. With every first flower free, visitors are encouraged to browse, linger, and take a piece of joyful art home.
Since its debut in New York in September 2024, Flower Market has been staged across the globe – from Hong Kong to Abu Dhabi and Sydney – drawing overwhelming demand at every stop. The Southeast Asia premiere by IMBA will feature over 30 flower varieties, including several new varieties created specifically for Singapore.
