FoodCine.ma is a film festival on food from the creators of A Design Film Festival. It will launch in Singapore from 29 April to 14 May 2016 and expects to draw more than 5,000 attendees for its first edition. Anchored at visual arts centre, Objectifs, the event will feature a curated selection of films from around the world, a series of special presentations on the relationship of food and design, and two commissioned exhibitions on food culture.
FoodCine.ma presents the Southeast Asia premiere of Noma: My Perfect Storm, directed by Pierre Deschamps, in Singapore. Noma, My Perfect Storm is a creative journey into the mind of René Redzepi. The film follows him as he fights his way back to the top, reinventing NOMA and reclaiming the title of best restaurant in the world in 2014 for the fourth time.
