Beginning with the legacy of Modern art and exploring the evolution of essential practices and mediums Post WWII, these lectures will review the most important European and American art movements that molded the aesthetical and conceptual foundations of today’s art. Contemporary Art movements to be reviewed include Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, Conceptual Art, Minimalism, Performance and Street Art.

This course is designed for those who wish to discover more about the origins of Contemporary art.
