The exhibition presents and demonstrates the social consciousness and combined creativity of our dedicated “frontliners” – architects and the people – who give their heart and soul to creating a better living environment in Singapore. The people’s active participation in the co-creation process helps the architects translate their creativity into purposeful infrastructure that responds to the environment and the needs of its inhabitants.
Whether an HDB homestead, a parkland, public housing, urban space or a flat-pack “instant” shelter – the innovation, ingenuity and resourcefulness of the our “frontliners” are evident for visitors to learn and appreciate; and for our young people to be fired up to take ownership of this country that we love, and build a better future for all.
