As Singapore celebrates its 50th anniversary, FutureEverything Singapore explores our future as a ‘Smart Nation’ through the Signals of Tomorrow conference. Featuring a panel of 11 local and international speakers working in the fields of art, science and technology, the conference will look at how life, work and play have been fundamentally transformed by technology. The conference will shine the spotlight on the place of smart technology in Singapore’s society and culture.
The panelists include Scott Smith (Founder of Changeist, a US-based lab and research consultancy firm), Sara Watson (Technology critic), Usman Haque (Founding Partner of London-based Umbrellium and Thingful), Cheryl Chung (Co-curator of TEDx Singapore), Andrea Nanetti (A historian by training), Ayesha Khanna (Singapore-based education, technology and urbanisation expert), Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino (London-based Interaction designer, product designer, entrepreneur & international speaker focused on the Internet of Things), PAN Studio (UK design and new media arts studio), Tong Yee (Co-founder of School of Thought), Dan Hill (Executive Director of Futures at the UK’s Future Cities Catapult) and Mark Lim (Deputy Director and Head of Government Digital Services at the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) of Singapore)
