At a time when imagination and innovation are shaping what lies ahead, Futures Festival: Worlds in the Making is an invitation for everyone to hold the future open with possibilities. Presented by ArtScience Museum and running throughout November, the festival celebrates the resilient, diverse and hopeful worlds emerging from the region through intimate conversations, thoughtful art and participatory experiences.
Featuring a captivating slate of complimentary and ticketed programmes taking place across the entire Museum from 1 November, the festival draws inspiration from the themes of its latest exhibition, Another World Is Possible.
From stepping into speculative virtual worlds at ArtScience Cinema and the world premiere of Liam Young’s VR work The Drone Shepherd: A Planet City Graphic Novel in VR to sonic installations, Futures Festival will transform the Museum into a living constellation of ideas and experiences – all of which culminates in a day-long symposium with changemakers and multi-sensory performances from 13 to 15 November.
