Game-based improv is one of the best training grounds for quick-witted and ready-footed thinkers.
In this workshop, participants will familiarise themselves with Viola Spolin’s techniques for improvising through games and making up short stories.
These games can then be used to play formats like cabaret, “wrestling” improv or the match format. This competitive improvisation is very popular in Europe and Canada, countries with improv teams who meet every year to compete in a world championship.
