The Glasgow School of Art Singapore, an institution for creative education and research in fine art, design and architecture, will host its third degree show from 9 till 15 July 2016 at DECK.
The annual showcase of work represents the culmination of each student’s experience in the Glasgow School of Art’s dynamic programmes. A diverse range of creative works from prints, short films, installations,spatial concept modelsto writings will be presented by the graduating students from the institution’s Communication Design and Interior Design programmes.
Among the many talented graduating students this year is Samantha Pang, who was placed second in a competition organised by Jones Knowles Richie to re-brand the Singapore Sling and scored an internship with award-winning global design agency. A team of seven graduating Interior Design students also presented their proposals to realise Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital’s design vision for an integrated nursing home and community hub at the 2016 Hospitals Design & Development Asia conference, garnering positive reviews.
