Join Singaporean multidisciplinary artist and poet nor for G(LISTEN): Remix, Renew, Reunion! a writing workshop held in conjunction with GLISTEN, Lisa Reihana’s kinetic sculpture and the seventh edition of the Ng Teng Fong Roof Garden Commission.
In this two-day workshop, participants will use a song with ecological imagery in its lyrics as a starting point and craft new writings in response. They will then collaborate with a fellow participant whose work resonates with them, weaving together a shared composition.
This workshop invites participants to reconsider what defines tradition, explore the significance of renewal as a strategy and discover the power of collaboration in a world that too often rushes forward and eagerly neglects the lessons of its past.
