“Goodby- -” is a solemn and intimate farewell to a part of myself lost to breast mastectomy. While deeply personal, this exhibition speaks to a universal journey of loss, resilience, and renewal. Presented in monochrome Polaroids, each work captures raw, unaltered moments that are fragile yet enduring. Through light and shadow, they reveal grief, acceptance, and survival, holding space for vulnerability and strength to coexist. What begins as a funeral for my breast becomes a tribute to its absence: an offering where scars are honoured, caregiving acknowledged, and healing embraced. The stark contrasts evoke timeless themes, reminding us that beauty and resilience persist even through profound change. “Goodby- -” invites you to reflect, to remember, and to find strength in what remains.
