First launched in 2022, the Spirits Festival commemorates both the Buddhist Ullambana Festival and the Taoist Hungry Ghost Festival. It focuses on unity in diversity, explaining similarities in beliefs and practices across faiths and schools of thought. These events educate and interest visitors on festivals and practices they frequently see in Singapore but might not fully understand.
